With a new month comes a tasty new range of fruit and veg to bring into the kitchen. Our chefs are always up to the task of incorporating lots of new ingredients into our seasonal dishes, from hazelnuts and chestnuts to shallots and kale, and this month is no different. We’ll be making regular updates to our menus using ingredients that are in season in October so don’t forget to keep an eye on our main menu page for updates.
If you want to increase your own use of local and seasonal produce, be that fruit and veg or meat and game, but aren’t sure where to look we recommend checking out your local farmer’s markets and local butchers. We’ve found some real gems away from the larger supermarkets and we’re certain that with a little resourcefulness you will too. If you need some inspiration for where to go, check out our recent post with some of our favourite markets.
