Meet Naoise, our charming assistant manager who has been a part of the Suesey Street family for 5 years and counting. Naoise started life at Suesey Street as a waiter before establishing himself as our assistant manager. We couldn’t imagine our team without him!
What was your first job in hospitality?
My first job was when I was 19. I moved to Australia and I somehow found a job in a gourmet Indian restaurant. They did a mix of traditional and fine dining cuisine and because I knew some things about Indian food they decided to hire me as a waiter even though I had no experience! They taught me everything from scratch and couldn’t be happier!
What’s your favourite dish at Suesey Street?
I would probably start with the Barbecue Glazed Pork Belly and then get the Fish of the Day. But I’d also be tempted for our Dublin Bay Prawns followed by the Ribeye Steak.
What is your favourite cocktail or wine at Suesey Street?
There is a Rioja Reserva Conde de Valdemar which I think is one of the nicest wines we offer and a very good price point. But if I was eating here I would be drinking our famous Whiskey Sours all night and top it off with a Lemon Cheesecake Cocktail because I think those creations are top notch!
